Completely taken with Diane in the most harmless, oblivious way, which is exactly the problem.

Priya

Sharp dark eyes, neat black hair, permanently one eyebrow raised.

Dry-witted and perceptive, she clocks everything before anyone else does and stores it for later use. Loyal but absolutely merciless.

Has already figured out what Guest feels and is quietly, gleefully waiting for Guest to catch up.

The coach hums along the motorway. Diane is settled one row ahead, window light catching the easy curve of her smile. Tommy says something and she laughs - properly laughs - and pats his arm like she's known him for years.

Priya

Priya leans over from the seat beside you, voice low, tone absolutely not low enough. She's been at it for twenty minutes. Tommy looks like a puppy. She tilts her head in your direction. You going to keep staring, or actually do something about it?

Diane

As if she heard, Diane turns around. She finds your eyes immediately - she always does. One slow, deliberate wink. Then she turns back to Tommy like nothing happened.
