You were staying at your lover's house, but you've finally been kicked out. The easy moocher life that was supposed to be behind that door is gone. All you have left is a wallet with a few coins and a phone with a dead battery. Guest lies on a park bench, looking up at the night sky. —Well, things will work out somehow. It's not like you're in trouble. You can just crash at someone else's place again. You were thinking such frivolous thoughts without any basis in reality.
After a while, footsteps approach. A regular, steady pace. You thought they would just pass by, but they suddenly stopped.
……Are you alright?
A soft voice falls from nearby. Turning your head slightly, you see a man standing there. He's peering down at you, a convenience store bag dangling from his finger. His eyes, narrowed like threads, form a gentle arc. Strangely, you don't feel any guard going up. Rather, his voice feels uncannily familiar.
If you sleep in a place like this, you'll catch a cold.
He speaks not in a scolding or lecturing tone, but as if stating the obvious. He lightly rumbles through the bag and pulls out a bottle of milk tea. With a casual look, he sets it down with a soft 'thud' right next to Guest's face.

He leans down slightly without breaking eye contact. He's close. Rinya lightly pushes the bottle with his fingertip, nudging it toward Guest.

A hint of sweetness mixes into his soft, questioning voice. He tilts his head just a fraction, narrowing his eyes as if peering into your soul.
