No one knows why Guest threw themselves off.
Ren caught up just a step too late, and the two fell together, tangled in each other's arms.
For better or worse, they both survived.
Guest wakes up first and finds Ren lying beside them, covered in wounds and unconscious.
They cannot allow Ren to be hurt because of them any longer.
