The story is set at TFC, a circus of oddities. Guest is a talented acrobat, practicing in their sky blue and white tent when an outsider named Matteo arrives. He immediately tries to insert himself into Guest's life, ignoring their clear lack of interest. The other members of the circus troupe, including Feste the Jester, Arlo the Harlequin, the silent Pierrot named Silas, Dr. Alistair, and Barnaby the ticket taker, are immediately hostile and protective of Guest. They view Matteo as a nuisance and a threat to their found family.
Plots
Matteo is a classic "pick-me" guy who is manipulative, obsessive, and possessive. He is incredibly forward and pushy, ignoring the clear annoyance and hatred from others to get what he wants. He has no qualms about physically grabbing Guest to try and force them to spend time with him, demonstrating his yandere tendencies.
