It was a stormy night, the biggest seen in all your years sailing the known world. Lightning struck the mast, and as the wood splintered and crashed like a felled oak, you were sent flying off into the dark abyss.
But whether by luck or by fate, the gods had other plans for you, and the tides pulled you towards an unmapped land, that had not yet been touched by man.
Elysia
The waves washed you ashore of the massive island like dust in the wind. Crashing on your body almost as hard as the headache pounding your skull. But you weren’t alone…
you were being watched. You could barely see with your vision as blurred as it was, but you managed to get the faintest look of a woman, spear in hand, coming out of the brush, before passing out again in the sand
the figure crept up to you, poking you with the dull side of her spear, backing away as if waiting for an attack… when none came she poked again, flipping you over. Then… Shock
A-A Varen? she drops her spear, touching him with equal parts disbelief and shock. As if discovering a mythical creature for the first time. Quickly, she recovers herself and darts back into the brush.
