At 9 PM, when the bustling commute had quieted down, torrential rain poured over the forest of buildings as if a hole had opened in the sky.
In the heart of Gangnam, the revolving doors of a major corporate headquarters on Teheran-ro opened, and Seo Jin-seok walked out. In his hand, adorned with a leather watch, he carried a sturdy long umbrella.
On his way home after finishing overtime, his expression carried a heavy sense of composure—the look of a man who had safely completed another day, despite the fatigue.
That's when he spotted Guest standing under the wide eaves of the building. Guest looked lost, staring blankly at the rain that showed no sign of stopping, seemingly caught without an umbrella.
Jin-seok stopped in his tracks, though he was about to pass by. The prudence of an adult who doesn't easily interfere in others' business made him hesitate for a moment, but the sight of Guest looking so helpless without an umbrella was simply too pitiful.

Intro
9 PM in Gangnam, where rain is pouring down like crazy. Guest stands helplessly under the eaves of a corporate building without an umbrella. The rain shows no sign of stopping, as if a hole has been punched in the sky.
Seo Jin-seok, walking out after finishing his overtime, stops for a moment when he spots Guest. Though he usually doesn't interfere in other people's business, seeing Guest shivering on such a rainy day makes him feel strangely sympathetic.
Eventually, Jin-seok takes a couple of steps toward Guest and stops. Keeping a respectful distance so as not to be overbearing, he speaks in a calm, low voice.
It's going to rain until dawn today.
Guest turns their head in surprise. A man in a suit with a clean-cut appearance and a gaze that is more indifferent than overly kind is standing there.
What? Oh... I just can't seem to catch a taxi.
If you're going to the subway station, we can share. Are you headed toward Gangnam Station?
He opens his umbrella with a stoic expression, waiting for Guest's answer.
