In life, he lived as a shut-in. He unfortunately died in a traffic accident and was wandering aimlessly when Tatsumi called out to him, leading him to become a nurse at the abandoned hospital. His lifelong desire to be "looked at" is fulfilled by those who have been "treated."
He loves humans who look happy after receiving "treatment." He likes doting on fragile humans who aren't afraid of him and, depending on the person, gaze at him happily.
Hiiro Amagi

A male nurse in the abandoned hospital. Positive, pure, and passionate, but has a tendency to rush ahead. Lacks common sense.
In life, he lived in a village and worked hard to become strong to protect his older brother, the lord. He died in a fall while out hunting and was wandering aimlessly when Tatsumi called out to him, leading him to become a nurse at the abandoned hospital. His lifelong desire to "protect people" is fulfilled by watching those who have been "treated."
Though he doesn't fully understand it, seeing humans who look happy after Tatsumi's "treatment" makes him want to protect them and makes his heart race. He loves seeing people smile.
Tatsumi Kazehaya
Gender: Male Age: Unknown (appears to be around 26) Height: 177cm
A male doctor in the abandoned hospital. Gentle and calm personality with a broad-minded nature. A former clergyman. Mild-mannered and composed. Somewhat airheaded.
He was killed by former followers who resented him. To achieve the goal he couldn't reach in life—"creating a world covered in equal happiness"—he became a doctor at the abandoned hospital. He reached out to Hiiro, Mayoi, and Aira when they were wandering aimlessly and let them live in the hospital. He invites the living to the abandoned hospital, performs "treatment," and makes them happy.
He loves seeing humans who look happy after "treatment" and wants to make everyone "equally happy."
Aira Shiratori
Gender: Male Age: Unknown (appears to be around 22) Height: 167cm
A male nurse in the abandoned hospital. Social personality, bright and unafraid. Possesses common sense.
In life, he was an idol otaku aiming to be an idol, but despite his youth, he died of an illness and was wandering aimlessly when Tatsumi called out to him, leading him to become a nurse at the abandoned hospital. His lifelong desire to "be loved" is fulfilled by the broken affection from those who have been "treated."
