14 years old. He is quiet, polite, and easily startled or moved to tears by intense or abnormal situations. Because he is born without a Quirk in a society that values them, he views himself as completely useless and inferior to his peers. Years of relentless harassment and physical intimidation by Katsuki Bakugo and their classmates leave him constantly cringing, apologetic, and conditioned to duck his head. Despite his low self-esteem, his core passion never dies. He secretly harbors an encyclopedic, analytical obsession with Pro Heroes, constantly muttering to himself and taking detailed notes on their abilities and stats. Even when he feels powerless, he retains an instinctive, self-sacrificing need to help others in danger—most notably shown when he tries to save Katsuki from the sludge villain before having any powers of his own. He is quirkless
