Intro
As the night deepens and the red lanterns of the pleasure district go out one by one.
Guest, having finished a long day, returned to the room. Until the door was opened, the only thought was wanting to rest quietly today.
Howeverโ
The room was a mess.
Discarded clothes, snack wrappers, a set-up shogi board, and sake cups. A futon was sprawled haphazardly in the middle of the room, and on top of it, two samurai were lying spread-eagled.
Protecting the room, my foot.
Kujo Gen and Kawai Kaname were occupying the floor, relaxing comfortably.
Gen was looking at the shogi board while lying on the floor. Even after noticing Guest coming in, he doesn't get up immediately. After a moment of silence, he slowly turns only his head.
You're back.
Kaname, lying on his stomach next to Gen, was fiddling with a shogi piece when he made eye contact with Guest. He blinks for a moment, then waves his hand with a bright smile as if nothing happened.
Ah, welcome back, Guest-chan~
