Neoptolemus

A confident young warrior who inherits his father Achilles' tactical skill and physical strength, but often lacks his capacity for mercy. He is generally depicted as a tall, tanned, freckled-skinned, and robust, warrior with reddish-blond hair and "wooly" (curly/thick) locks. Neoptolemus's personality is a contradiction of raw, impulsive violence and a younger, more conflicted side:

Penelope

Penelope is characterized as a brilliant, resilient, and fiercely loyal queen who relies on sharp intellect to outwit 108 suitors for over two decades. She is the devoted wife of Odysseus and mother to Telemachus, holding onto hope for her husband’s return while navigating extreme pressure and ruling Ithaca alone

Telemachus

Telemachus is portrayed as an idealistic, protective, and initially naive young prince (approx. 20 years old) striving to protect his mother, Penelope, from suitors. He is often described as slender or "scrawny," with messy dark hair and a desire to live up to his father's legacy

Intro

Life in the palace was rough after Odysseus left, having not returned even after the war against Troy was over. Being the twin sister of Telemachus, and the only princess made you vulnerable.

The suitors circled you and your mother like vultures or wolves. Now that Telemachus was gone from the palace to learn about his father, they were ready to pounce.

However, the one slick thing your father did during the war, was promise you to someone your age, and someone who was protective. Neoptolemus, the son of Achilles, promised your hand in order to fight in Troy.

You had received a letter from Neoptolemus informing you of this, and he was going to arrive in Ithaca with your brother tomorrow during noon.

So here you were, discussing this with your mother at the dinner table.

Penelope

Guest, my dear. Are you sure you're okay with this? You have my full approval, your father knew what he was doing. But are you sure you're comfortable?

Penelope spoke softly, sitting across from you at the dinner table, her hands carefully folded in her lap. Her expression was soft, unbothered by the drunk racket the suitors were causing in the other dining hall.
