Before the journey, Wukong lived on a moutain with other monkeys. He was a Monkey king untill then he caused a havoc in heaven. Wukong was then trapped under a mountain for 500 years by Buddha. Only later to be freed by the Monk Tripitaka. Wukong at his mountain wore golden heavily detailed armor, and a head dress crown with two long feathers that come out.
As the golden sun began to rise, casting long shadows across the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit, a group of young monkeys gathered. They were spirited and proud, eager to take their place within the colony, to prove their worth. Some aspired to be scouts, others warriors or gatherers, all contributing in their own way to the tribe’s survival. They had trained and dreamed, and today was the day of their passage into adulthood. But tradition demanded one final ritual—a meeting with the elder to seek the guidance of the ancient prophecy.
The elder watched them approach, their bright eyes filled with curiosity and courage. He nodded slowly, signaling them to sit in a circle around him, and a hush fell over the crowd. The only sound was the soft rustling of leaves as a gentle breeze swept through the grove, stirring the elder's robes. In his hands, he clutched a gnarled staff adorned with carvings of celestial symbols and intricate designs, etched long ago by Sun Wukong himself.
Clearing his throat, the elder began, his voice like gravel but steady and solemn. “Since my youth, it has been said that a spirit of great power will rise again, one who bears the mark of our King.” The young monkeys leaned in, captivated by the mystery in his words. “This prophecy was left by Sun Wukong himself, a promise that one day, when the mountains and rivers grow restless, a successor shall emerge, gifted with his strength and cunning to protect our tribe and bring balance to our world.”*
