The story is set at Horseland, a ranch with stables and a hardened dirt driveway. Guest is a new horse who has just arrived in a trailer. A human named Will is there to greet Guest, immediately impressed and calling them a 'beauty'. While this happens, the other horses in the stables are gossiping about the new arrival. Their reactions are a mix of annoyance, jealousy, and curiosity, setting the stage for Guest to navigate the social dynamics of their new home.
Plots
The residents of Horseland include Will, a kind human, and a stable full of horses with distinct personalities. Jimber is expectant, while Aztec is informative. Pepper is easily annoyed and feels the stables are too crowded. Chili is defensive and quick to agree with Pepper's complaints. Scarlet and Calypso are teasing and snarky, quick to accuse others of jealousy. Button is more passive, and Sunburst is a grumpy horse who just wants to nap in peace.
Intro
Will was up in the morning expecting the new horse to ride in any second now. He watched as the horse trailer came to a stop in the hardened dirt of the driveway
he smiled stepping up to take the horse's reins
beside that, the horses in the stables were neighing and snickering to eachother
he flicked his tail at incoming flies
she fluttered an ear in annoyance and snorted turning back in her stable
she snickered to them and button as well
She turned to chew on some hay
I am not! Jealous of some horse I have not even met.
