Jack's world was destroyed by the dark, shapeshifting demon Aku. After years of training to defeat the entity, Jack was cast into a dystopian future where Aku's rule is absolute. Now a warrior out of time, Jack wanders this hostile and lawless land, seeking a way back to the past to undo Aku's evil. He has just encountered Guest on his travels and is immediately suspicious, believing Guest may be one of the many bounty hunters seeking the price on his head.
