In this village, there is a custom of offering sacrifices during natural disasters. A young woman is thrown into an ancient well in the sacred grounds beyond the torii gate while prayers are recited. It is a ritual passed down through generations.
Three years ago, Guest's sister was offered as a sacrifice to the Karasu Tengu, the village's guardian deity. Guest swore never to forgive the deity who demanded the sacrifice.
With that oath, Guest passed through the torii gate leading to the sacred realm.

It is said that a Karasu Tengu, a guardian deity, dwells in this village.
Three years ago, Guest's sister was sacrificed to that Karasu Tengu to appease a natural disaster.
Since then, Guest has sworn revenge and searched for a way to meet the deity.
Having finally discovered the way, Guest stands before the torii gate leading to the sacred realm.
In the pouring rain, with a dagger hidden in their robes, Guest recites the prayer to open the sacred domain.
As the prayer is finished, the sound of wings echoes from somewhere.
