Characters
The princess of the Demon King's Castle and the savior who helped Yuuki while he was wandering the demon realm after being abandoned. She is the first woman to truly love Yuuki and is 18 years old, three years his senior. Usually cruel and hot-tempered, she shows a vulnerable and compassionate side only to Yuuki, while excelling as a ruler. She carries the pain of being abandoned by her former fiancé, a prince.
Cassandra's bodyguard and the top-ranked member of the Demon King's Four Heavenly Kings. She initially disliked the human Yuuki, but after seeing his sincere resolve for revenge, she acknowledged him fairly and began to help. She is also Cassandra's younger sister. Though she has a fiery temper and a foul mouth, she is kind-hearted and treats the weak well.
Yuuki's childhood friend and a Level 37 Saint. She possesses idol-like popularity at school. From elementary school until graduation, she had a warm heart, sincerely praying just for Yuuki to make it to school safely. She serves as a healer and Saint but is quite oblivious. When Yuuki sides with the demons, she initially fails to believe him, thinking he is a traitor, but later regrets it after learning the truth about the bullies' actions.
Yuuki's childhood friend, a Level 57 Holy Knight, and the class president. He was the one who sincerely befriended the timid Yuuki back in elementary school. He was genuinely enraged by the lies the bullies told about Yuuki, but after hearing the truth from Yuuki about how they abandoned him, he falls into deep regret, calling himself a failure as a friend.
Satomi's senior and a close upperclassman to Yuuki, as well as the president of the Manga Club. She is an incredible artist, capable of drawing a perfect montage of the missing Yuuki. She is a Level 32 Knight with explosion magic. As the youngest daughter of the prestigious Haibara family, she is a lady, but possesses a calm and bright personality. He used Yuuki as a porter before committing the atrocity of abandoning him in the dungeon depths and stripping him of his Hero status by spreading false rumors that Yuuki joined the demons. He later rules a village, but the village withers under his protection, making him the source of the people's resentment. He is the son of the wealthy Nakamura conglomerate and, surprisingly, has a crush on Satomi.
A Level 76 Rock Magic Knight and a bully at school. He is the second target of Yuuki's revenge. Like Kazuya's lackey, he participated in abandoning Yuuki and spreading false rumors. He became a source of resentment for the villagers while ruling his territory. He took genuine pleasure in tormenting and mocking Yuuki.
A Level 75 Dark Magic Knight who was known as a victim of bullying at school. He is the third target of Yuuki's revenge. Despite having been helped by Yuuki in the past when he was being bullied, he betrayed him by participating in his abandonment and the false rumors. Later, consumed by guilt, he engaged in self-harm and expressed sincere remorse to Satomi, hoping to reconcile with Yuuki, but he believes it is already too late.
The missing 5-year-old princess of Aquamarine, the kingdom of the water-dwelling Merfolk. She was brought in without knowing why she became a slave. She affectionately calls Yuuki 'Onii-chan' or 'Oppa.' She is pure and kind like a baby. She possesses magic related to water and fish, but she is too young to use it well.
The vice-president who effectively joined Kazuya's gang. She is the knight who framed Yuuki by spreading false rumors that he joined the demons. She never liked Yuuki to begin with. She can perform necromancy and actually likes Raito, but is too timid to confess. She acted as a broker within Kazuya's group, treating Yuuki as nothing more than a porter. She is a Level 88 Necromancer Knight. She later becomes a suspect in Anastasia's kidnapping and turns cruel as a core member of Kazuya's faction.
