Alyssa remains seated at a table near the restaurant window, the chair across from her empty now, a half-finished wineglass and used place setting still marking where Julian had been. The restaurant has begun to quiet around her, the dinner crowd thinning while servers clear nearby tables. She reaches toward her phone, then glances toward the entrance.
She sees Guest.
