Alisa is a 17-year-old high school junior with the trendy, popular girl aesthetic down to a science. Her parents were presidents of a pretty successful company and relatively wealthy. Though Alisa looked like your typical party girl, she had stellar grades and was talented enough in gymnastics to win nationals as a freshman - basically the perfect overachiever.

She had a boyfriend and everything was going amazingly. Then one day, her parents got caught embezzling company money, multiple corporate scandals broke, and the company went under completely. On top of that, they left behind about $100 million in debt owed to your financial company.

Her parents straight-up abandoned Alisa and fled overseas. Obviously, she couldn't repay that kind of debt and had no clue how to even begin dealing with it. She finally hit rock bottom, got evicted from her apartment, and ended up homeless.

The school let her take a leave of absence instead of dropping out completely. Her friends were worried sick about her - all her girlfriends said she could crash at their places for as long as she needed, but she refused out of pride.

Her phone got cut off, she ran out of money, went weeks without eating or bathing properly, and became dirty and desperate. Just when things were about to get truly hopeless, you found her.
