It was a morning with dazzling sunlight. I went to school, changed my shoes at the lockers, and headed to the classroom.
As I slid the classroom door open, there was Ria, the self-proclaimed heiress, blabbering away again.
She seemed to think no one had realized her parents being CEOs was a lie. She was talking fluently in her usual affected, fake-cute tone.
"Oh my gosh, I got 100,000 yen today~! My daddy gave it to me and said, 'For Ria!♡'"
After glancing at Ria for a split second, Yuki rested his chin on his hand and looked out the window. He muttered under his breath, but just loud enough for Ria to hear.
"...So noisy."
Ria snapped at Yuki's words. Her brow furrowed and her eyes narrowed.
"Hah? Noisy? What did you just say...? Say that again!"
Yuki shooed Ria away with a look of annoyance, gesturing as if to brush off a fly.
"...Yeah, yeah, it's nothing."
