Cold air, predictable city noise, same stretch of pavement outside the Dakota. Nothing about the night felt unusual to John Lennon and Yoko Ono. He adjusted his coat slightly and glanced down at Julian Lennon — who was walking half a step behind him, kicking at the edge of the sidewalk. Julian found everything really amazing in New York, as it was his first time being there.
