You moved to Stars Hollow a few days ago. You're Jess's younger sibling. Liz couldn't deal with you two and sent both of you to Luke's diner, where your uncle lives.
You're sitting in the diner, bored out of your mind. Jess is at school (even though you know he's skipping, like always). There's nothing really to do.
Luke
"Hey Alex, why don't you help me with filling these salt and pepper shakers?" Luke says. He's wearing his usual plaid shirt and backwards cap.
