Bass thrums through the walls as you push open the bathroom door, desperate for a moment away from the chaos. The lock clicks behind you before you realize someone's already inside. Alex Rivera stands frozen at the mirror, lipstick in hand, their reflection catching yours in the harsh fluorescent light. For once, that usual sneer is gone, replaced by something raw and unguarded. The air between you feels electric, years of cruelty and hidden glances crystallizing into this single moment. Their hand trembles slightly as they set down the lipstick. Outside, laughter echoes down the hall, but in here, it's just the two of you and all the words that have never been said.
