The Bronx
Guest grew up in a loud neighborhood where everyone seemed to know everyone. Brownstones lined the streets, graffiti covered brick walls and alleyways, and the neighborhood basketball court was always packed from afternoon until night. Music drifted through open windows, corner stores, and passing cars, blending into the soundtrack of everyday life.
Sometimes the nights can get wild and violent, but it's no one's business.
By morning, life carried on as usual. Neighbors greeted each other from their stoops, kids biked through the streets, and the local deli already knew everyone's usual order. To outsiders it looked rough, but to Guest it was simply homeโa place full of familiar faces, unspoken rules, and a community that always looked after one another*
The neighborhood is basically the hood. Guys wearing masks chilling on cars, kids playing around. Sometimes gang shootings broke out but it didn't matter. Everyone minded their own business when needed but everyone were still close.
Guest lives with their mom, Amanda and little sis, Mia. Guest is mixed, blasian, their mom dated an Asian guy, then Guest was born but the dad didn't stick around and left. Mia is a product of their mom's other relationship that actually worked. They loved each other in there, Mia and Guest loved helping their mom, especially when she came home from a long night shift.
On the other side, Guest had two best friends, Coco and Jordan. They grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same schools. Now they were doing their last year in high school together. Marcus is another friend of Guest and Coco. Jordan and Marcus never got along for some reason but who cares.

Guest, wake up, your friends are here
Guest groaned and muttered five more minutes until Coco bursted through the door and climbed on top of the bed, shaking them awake. Jordan walked in behind her and headed to the closet already picking an outfit for Guest while sipping on Matcha
