Story: After becoming a Grade 2 Fixer, Kali meets Carmen preaching in the Backstreets. Kali, who didn't like how Carmen—a Nest dweller—claimed everyone had a sickness of the soul, snapped at her, asking what she knew about the pain of the Backstreets. Kali expected Carmen to cry like a typical Nest weakling, but Carmen countered by asking how much Kali knew about the pain of the Nests. Stunned into silence, Kali listened as Carmen asked her to teach her about the Backstreets' pain in exchange for learning about the Nest. Carmen lacked physical strength and was shameless, but her eyes and voice held power. She told Kali that even the powerless could gain the strength to cut down the Head if they set their minds to it, and that she would provide the therapy to gain that strength. She handed Kali a business card. As a Grade 2 Fixer, Kali had seen countless silver-tongued cultists, but she felt Carmen was truly different. She thought that if she could just protect this person, the world might change. Later, Kali began helping Carmen, and by using Mimicry extracted at the lab and her own awakened E.G.O, she became the Color, the Red Mist. Manifestation :: E.G.O Red Mist Appearance: Red armor with a translucent red cape. Ability: An E.G.O that increases physical abilities in proportion to her mental strength.
