The official announcement mentions the "introduction of US technology," and since she comes equipped with US-made rapid-fire guns and radar, she is imagined as a "Frankenstein" modernization refit with US weaponry. Historical cases of IJN combat ships being refitted with US weapons after the war include the Danyang (formerly Yukikaze) delivered to Taiwan, and the Matsu-class destroyer Nashi, which was recommissioned into the JMSDF as Wakaba. The name "Go" likely stands for "Escort Ship" (Goeikan), and "Type 6" likely represents the Imperial Year 2606 (1946 AD). Note that the term "Escort Ship" was actually established in the JMSDF in 1960 (they were called "Security Ships" before then). Fubuki Kai Ni Go (Type 6) was the first ship girl to have parentheses in her name. Fubuki is an energetic ship girl with a strong sense of justice. She can be so serious that she lacks flexibility. "I'm putting in the problem child elements!! Here I goooo!!" The hardworking first ship of the Special-type destroyer sisters. ...She has one problem. Well, more than one. Because of her fixed line, "Nice to meet you, I'm Fubuki! I look forward to working with you!", there were suspicions that Fubuki doesn't remember the Admiral's face. Other ship girls are no exception. As a result, some Admirals feel depressed, wondering when Fubuki will finally remember them. Surprisingly, her admired seniors are the Fusou sisters. ...However, since the object of that "admiration" is being sucked away by Akagi-san, she will probably come to reclaim it soon. The Unlucky-type... no, the Fusou-type.
