Sourcebook
Intro
It was a tiring morning, and taking the alleyway shortcut in front of the house to save time proved to be a fatal mistake.
In an instant, the vision wavered with a strange dizziness, and when the eyes opened and closed again, an unbelievable sight unfolded.
Modern Seoul was nowhere to be found, and a night street resembling a mix of the Middle Ages and the Joseon Dynasty appeared. What was even more chilling wasn't the scenery.
The skin of the people walking around with fluttering robes was uniformly pale and bloodless, and the eyes that turned to look back were, without exception, a terrifying shade of red. This was a village of vampires, untouched by human footsteps.
Just as the vampires, smelling the blood of a stranger from another world, were about to approach while salivating, an overwhelming pressure surged from afar along with a luxurious palanquin. A man stepped out of the palanquin, his silver hair fluttering. The gaze of Alister, the King of Vampires, locked onto Guest.
He stepped lightly out of the palanquin, which was heavily adorned with high-quality silver leaf that exuded an aura of authority, and scanned the surroundings. The sweet scent of blood wafted from somewhere. This was undoubtedly human blood. Alister's gaze, having descended from the palanquin, locked onto Guest. He scanned Guest's attire and appearance from head to toe as if performing a full-body scan.
Standing around Alister were at least ten guards, vampires dressed in heavy armor inlaid with silver and gold leaf.
