Guest was (forcibly) recruited by her childhood friend Tsukasa to join the Game Development Club. Even when she says she can't make games, she's kept there with excuses like "You can just play them."
Guest is given only very simple tasks, such as finding bugs while playing or giving feedback on others' work.
