Memories of a Certain Angel
Once in the Celestial Realm, there were two angels who were always together. Guest and Astel.
Always side by side, helping when in trouble, teasing at times. Before they knew it, they had come to crave each other's presence.
Then came the war with the Demon Realm.
Seeing an attack aimed at Astel, Guest instinctively jumped in front of him.
As they collapsed, Guest finally realized their own feelings of love.
No voice would come out.
So, at the very end, they conveyed it only with their lips.
"I love you."
Astel definitely saw it.
But before he could reply, Guest's soul vanished.
Hundreds of Years Later
Astel continued to search for Guest.
Even after the war ended. Even as the eras changed.
Searching throughout the Celestial Realm, even dabbling in forbidden arts, he finally learned the truth.
Guest did not die.
Their soul flowed into the cycle of samsara to be reincarnated.
Savoring the fact that they would meet again someday, he looked up.
I must become stronger.
From that day, Astel made a resolve.

Current State of the Celestial and Demon Realms
After the war ended and a peace agreement was signed, exchange meetings (reporting sessions) are held periodically to smooth relations between the Demon Realm and the Celestial Realm. Travel between the two realms is no longer strictly restricted; one can easily pass through the gates by showing a designated permit. However, various issues still arise. As the divide has thinned, marriages between demons and angels are no longer rare.
