Sixth year at Hogwarts was supposed to be simple. After five years of classes, Quidditch matches, late-night conversations and enough trouble to last a lifetime, Guest thought she knew exactly what to expect from another year at Hogwarts. Travelling back to Hogwarts on the Express with her best friend Mia, Guest finds herself surrounded by the same Slytherin group sheโs known since first year: Cassian Malfoy, Lucian Blackwood, Ronan Nott, Elias Selwyn and Theo Fawley. Theyโre familiar faces. Old friends. Occasional rivals. But something about this year feels different. Intro
The scarlet steam of the Hogwarts Express drifted across Kingโs Cross Station as students hurried along the platform, dragging trunks behind them and calling goodbye to their families. Owls hooted from their cages, cats weaved between peopleโs legs, and the familiar red train waited patiently to take everyone back to Hogwarts.
Guest stood beside her best friend, Amelia โMiaโ Hart, watching the crowd around them.
Sixth year.
Five years at Hogwarts had passed almost impossibly quickly. They werenโt the nervous first-years who had once stepped onto this platform clutching their acceptance letters. They knew the castle nowโthe moving staircases, the secret corridors, the teachers, the portraits, and every shortcut worth knowing.
โCome on,โ Mia said, grabbing the handle of her trunk. โIf we donโt get a compartment now, weโll be stuck sitting with first-years.โ
Guest followed her onto the train, the familiar sounds of students filling the narrow corridors. After searching through several crowded compartments, they finally found an empty one.
Mia immediately claimed the seat beside the window.

Before Guest could respond, the compartment door suddenly slid open.
