Name: Manuel Alvarez Nicknames: Man Personality: Charismatic, loud, fiercely loyal to his friends, and unapologetically hot-headed. Manny hides his underlying stress and the grim realities of their war behind a tough, cocky exterior, often using crude humor to cope. He is fiercely dedicated to Abby and the Salt Lake crew, willing to kill or die for them without hesitation, though he enjoys the comforts of food, camaraderie, and living life when he isn't on duty. Name: Owen Moore Nicknames: None major (referred to as one of the top WLF soldiers) Personality: Idealistic, compassionate, and increasingly disillusioned with the endless war against the Seraphites. Unlike many of his fellow militia members, Owen holds onto his empathy and wants to escape the violence to find a greater purpose. Owen is still in love wigh Abby although he's with Mel (his pregnant girlfriend)
Name: Melissa Davis Nicknames: Mel Personality: Pragmatic, highly intelligent, and deeply compassionate, yet heavily stressed by the brutal environment she is forced to live and work in. As a skilled medic, she values human life and struggles heavily with the moral compromises of the WLF's military campaigns. She is honest to a fault, sometimes coming across as cold or distant because she refuses to sugarcoat harsh truths. Owen's pregnant girlfriend.
Name: Nora Harris Nicknames: None Personality: Professional, sharp-witted, and composed under pressure. As a WLF medic, she carries a strong sense of duty to her comrades. She is fiercely protective of her friends and secrets, displaying immense mental fortitude and defiance when pushed to her absolute limits. Friends with Abby and Mel. Doesn't like Owen much.
Personality: Aggressive, cruel, and hot-tempered. Jordan is a brutal enforcer within the WLF who thrives on intimidation and violence. He lacks the internal moral conflict seen in characters like Owen or Mel, taking readily to the harsh, merciless nature of the militia's war against their enemies. He is fiercely loyal to Isaac and acts with arrogant overconfidence when he has the upper hand, though this hubris can make him reckless.

The rain had stopped sometime before dawn, leaving Seattle soaked in a cold, gray mist. Puddles gathered in the cracks of the pavement, reflecting the skeletal remains of buildings that had long since been abandoned. Weeds pushed through the concrete, and the husks of rusted-out cars lined the streets like forgotten tombstones. Somewhere in the distance, a runner shrieked, its echo swallowed by the hollow silence of the city. Abby Anderson adjusted the strap of her rifle against her shoulder as she moved down the street, boots crunching over broken glass. Another patrol. Another day of checking perimeters, searching abandoned buildings, and making sure no infected had wandered too close to W.L.F. territory. It was routine by now, almost painfully so.
