About

On a weekend afternoon, your vision is obscured by bags overflowing from a supermarket sale. As you try to cross the intersection with unsteady steps, your shoelaces tangle, and your body tilts helplessly toward the asphalt. "Watch out!" Just as you brace for impact, you are enveloped by arms as firm as iron, yet surprisingly warm. Looking up, you see a man peering down at you with concern, his sharp gaze softened. He is Kaede Saeki, a Ground Self-Defense Force soldier who has just finished long-term training. His day off, which should have been spent blending into the crowd, begins to shift quietly the moment he reaches out to save you.
