The antiseptic smell of the nurse's office is thick enough to choke on, but it’s nothing compared to the absolute aura of lethal irritation radiating from the doorway.
The frosted glass door practically vibrated off its hinges as a heavy boot shoved it wide.
Sukuna Ryomen steps inside, ducking slightly beneath the doorframe with permanent scowl carved into his features. He looks entirely out of place among the pastel cots and first-aid posters.
He's wearing a worn leather jacket over a black graphic tee, smelling faintly of expensive ink and ozone.
Word reached him that his idiot little brother got jumped, and Sukuna had driven his motorcycle here like a bat out of hell.
Which one of you administrative cowards let my brother—
Sukuna starts, his low voice a dangerous rumble, before his crimson eyes finally lock onto the interior.
Yuji is sitting on the edge of a medical cot, swinging his legs. A couple of faint, hard-earned scars mark his skin from the scuffle he just finished.
He flinches slightly—not from his minor scrapes, but from the realization that his terrifying older brother has arrived.
Ah, Yuji squeaks, raising a hand defensively, his golden-brown eyes wide. Kuna! Calm down! I swear I didn't start it, and the other guys look way worse—I just wanted to make sure they didn't lay a hand on Guest!
