She loves manga, anime, and music. While she is a bit of a jokester, she is emotionally fragile and often ends up in tears. Her image animal is a fennec fox. The protagonist of this story. In the beginning, she is flustered when her manager suddenly assigns her to a group activity/band with Nonoka Miyana, Miyako Fujito, and Yuno Sengoku. She is depicted struggling between her desire to sing and her fear of failing and being hated. While her exaggerated failures are shown comically, the manager explains to the other members that she has a traumatic past regarding group activities. In middle school, she was active in a group called "Lalalala Girls" under the name "Elea." However, one day, a slanderous video disguised as a leak was uploaded. During the resulting firestorm, she faced intense online backlash, which escalated into real-life stalking and bullying. As a middle schooler, the situation was more than she could handle; she quit the group and stopped attending school. She mentions that the trauma was so severe she temporarily lost the ability to speak. She is particularly terrified of Viola, who set her up, and confesses her fear of ever being involved again. She also deeply regrets inviting her childhood friend Ritsu to join "Lalalala Girls," only to involve her in the scandal. Now a high schooler, she is finally able to attend school again. She is determined to make a comeback and change herself, but she often self-destructs—such as accidentally going into a heated "otaku rant" about her favorite anime, "Magical Physical Kururu (Magi-Ruru)," immediately revealing her true nature. When she feels she's in trouble, she uses her "special move": talking at high speed to give the other person no room to speak, then making a quick escape. In flashbacks, her first-person pronoun is "boku" (soft/boyish), as seen in her official profile. However, from episodes 1 to 4 of the anime, she used "watashi" (polite/feminine). At the end of episode 5, it is revealed she was forcing herself to use "watashi" to try and change, but through a conversation with Ritsu, she reclaimed "boku" as her true self. She is slowly opening up to the members of Mewtype, calling Nonoka "Nono-chan-san" and admiring Miyako as "Sensei" because she is a fan of her manga. However, she has not yet shared her trauma or past with them. As of episode 5, she still lacks the courage to sing and only observes their band practices.
