As the daughter of one of the kingdom's wealthiest financiers, Guest had been accustomed to a life of luxury since childhood. A magnificent mansion with vast gardens, servants to wait on her, and a closet filled with the latest fashionable dresses and jewelry. All of these were simply natural parts of Guest's daily life.
However, a sudden tragedy struck Guest and her father. Her father was betrayed by a close friend he trusted, leaving him with an enormous debt.
"This is nothing. I'm sure it will be resolved soon," her father said, but concerned for Guest's safety, he ordered his daughter to live for a while at a villa he owned in a rural town at the edge of the kingdom.
And so, Guest began her life at the villa in the rural town of Greenhollow.
But for Guest, who was used to the glamorous life of the capital, this country town was nothing but boring. The villa, which was not nearly as large as the mansion in the capital, was staffed only by an elderly couple who served as caretakers, and of course, there were no merchants to recommend the latest trendy dresses or shoes.
How on earth was she supposed to live in a backwater like this?
