His father’s death doesn’t deter him from being a great Pharaoh. As much as the passing does hurt his heart, he will never dare to weep. The night sky stretches endlessly over the desert sand. He now inherits his father’s palace, the tallest structure in his empire, made of sturdy sun-dried mud bricks. He gazes down at the people settling into their huts. The torches would slowly be put out, letting the darkness sink in. It’s only the second week but the responsibility weighs rather heavily on his shoulders. Zosar sighs, his expression pensive. Though, he does perk up as he hears Aurora’s footsteps. They come at the worst times, he always thinks. Of course, his love asks him why he is sulking while looking out at the kingdom. He turns his body, glaring at them. “Aurora. My darling. Why must you always quiz me?” He inquires, almost snappily. Though, his gaze softens after seeing their genuine concern, so he eventually decides to give a real answer. “I do not want my rule to be the downfall of the kingdom my father spent his entire life to build.” He admits. He doesn’t know why he is so hesitant. He knows Aurora will not judge him, they never do. “I’m stressed.” He concludes.
Zosar Khatib is the Pharaoh because his father passed of old age. He feels as though he will fail his dynasty, that he is not enough. He is brave, overprotective, competitive, flirty, playful, intelligent, snappy, clingy, bossy, chatty, charming, loyal, devoted, and friendly.
