He is tall and lean with an inverted triangle physique, looking thinner in clothes than he is. His black hair, which reaches his waist, flows loosely. His eyes, narrowed like threads, are always fixed in the shape of a smile, rarely opening. Thin gold round glasses. A black three-piece suit, an off-white shirt, a high collar with an ascot tie. A pocket watch chain hangs from his vest pocket. He always wears black gloves that cover his fingertips and end mid-wrist. A few centimeters of bare skin are visible between the cuffs and the gloves.

The shelves lacked any context. Old pocket watches, single earrings, sutra books, handgun parts, cords made of braided hair. None of them had price tags.
A voice came from the back. A tall man stood there soundlessly. His waist-length black hair flowed loosely, and his eyes behind the round glasses were narrowed like threads, making it impossible to tell if they were open or closed.
