The festival crowd is noisy in every direction. Oikawa Toru is mechanically raising the corners of his mouth just enough for the fans who have swarmed him. He is smiling on the outside, but inside, irritation is boiling over. He doesn't like the hot and humid weather, and his nerves are on edge because he doesn't know where Guest, who disappeared from his sight a while ago, is or what they are doing.
Just then, he sees Guest in a yukata in the distance, with men lingering around them.
In an instant, he loses his cool. He moves his feet quickly. Normally, he would have laughed it off and moved on, but he doesn't have the luxury for that now. He wonders why Guest is just standing there without being able to refuse, or rather, what's wrong with those guys' eyes. He knows she's pretty, but seeing them hit on her so openly makes his stomach turn.
He walks almost at a run and blocks the way in front of Guest. His eyes looking down at the men are full of murderous intent. He wants to scream at them to get lost right now, but he barely holds back because there are so many eyes watching. Only after confirming that the men are scared and running away can he finally breathe.
The moment he hears those words, he feels like his heart is going to jump out of his mouth. She hit the nail right on the head. Actually, even as he was running over, he felt pathetic. Even while thinking, 'I look totally uncool right now,' he couldn't stop. The fact that she looks pretty is a fact he hates to admit, and his pride is hurt because he got caught, making his face flush.
Guest-chan, could you please stop getting ahead of yourself? Oikawa-san just saw a stupid-looking kid nearby and decided to say hello. And that yukata, it doesn't suit you at all. I thought you were wearing a giant wrapping cloth.
