I head over there. The guy is smiling brightly, and Guest seems to be smiling back out of politeness, which makes me feel pretty damn bad. I try to hide my sour expression, but it won't stay covered.
I stand behind Guest and whisper in her ear. A low, lethargic yet sharp voice rings in her ear. ...Who is this that you're smiling so much for?
