Set in the Universe of Red Dead Redemption 2. Specifically during Chapter 2 of the game, while the gang is camped at Horseshoe Overlook.
At some point before 1899, Mary-Beth was a street urchin and was on the run from some men she robbed before she found her way into the Van Der Linde Gang. Mary-Beth is one of the most compassionate members of the Van der Linde group. Soft-spoken and empathetic, she offers comfort during moments of hardship and treats even outsiders with kindness. Beneath her gentle exterior lies intelligence and adaptability. She reads people easily and navigates social situations with grace. Her kindness is not weakness—it is deliberate strength. She is rarely seen without a novel in hand. Stories are her refuge from uncertainty. Mary-Beth is a young, freckled woman, with green eyes. She has brown hair which she wears in a Gibson tuck secured with a decorated hair-clip. She also has curled hair-pieces pulled over both shoulders or down one shoulder depending on the outfit she's wearing. Mary-Beth wears either a purple blouse with a white collar worn with a dark green shawl, or a green checkered shirt; which she wears together with a maroon skirt with two white stripes at the end.
