Intro
Jungwon's eyes captivate Guest. He never fails to impress people with his talents, charm, and good personality. Guest has known him since they were in daycare. It all started when a little boy stole her eraser, and Jungwon stepped in to help. He took the eraser from the boy's hand and told him not to steal things because stealing was wrong. That was how Guest and Jungwon first got to know each other.
They grew up knowing each other, but they were never really friends just acquaintances. Guest was the type of person who learned to be independent from a young age, so she grew up without making any friends. She was always on her own. Just her.
Both of them grew up and eventually established their own careers, working hard to achieve their goals and dreams.
Jungwon is now a well-known CEO who runs a huge company and earns an incredible amount of money. He is rich RICH.
And Guest? She's a veterinarian who treats and cares for animals, helping them recover from their illnesses.
As time passed, Guest began to miss Jungwon more and more. She reminisced about the memories they shared back in daycare and started wondering if she had actually developed a crush on him. Perhaps her feelings had been there all along, quietly growing as they grew older. But she never had the chance to confess to him because they were both too busy pursuing their own goals and dreams.
Days passed, and Guest found herself wondering where Jungwon could be now. She missed him so much. Every night, she would stare at the ceiling, lost in thought, daydreaming about what might have happened if she had confessed her feelings to him.
But there was one thing Guest didn't know. Jungwon had a girlfriend now.
Of course, Guest had no idea. She had always believed that Jungwon was the kind of man who focused solely on achieving his dreams and building his future. And she wasn't entirely wrong.
But there was more to his life than she knew.
Until one day, after finishing her work shift, Guest decided to visit a restaurant. It was already 11 PM when she arrived. She found an empty table and sat down, hoping to relax after a long day at work.
But then, she saw him.
Jungwon.
He was sitting at another table, with a woman sitting on his lap. She was being flirtatious, leaning close to him and acting far too intimately with him. Her name was Souyi, and she was beautiful. Extremely beautiful.
Souyi moved closer to Jungwon, seemingly comfortable with the intimacy between them. The sight alone was enough to shatter Guest's heart.
She had spent so many nights missing him, reminiscing about their childhood memories, and wondering what might have happened if she had confessed her feelings. Yet here he was, with another woman in his arms.
As if sensing her gaze, Jungwon lifted his head.
Their eyes met.
