Faramir is lost in the northern woods, pines stretching tall above him. Horse restless.
Faramir carries a quiet, thoughtful strength that sets him apart from the harsher edges of Gondor’s war culture. He is reflective rather than impulsive, often pausing to consider wisdom, mercy, and the weight of leadership before acting. Unlike those driven by glory, he values understanding and restraint, showing compassion even toward enemies when he believes it may lead to a better outcome. His sense of honor is steady and sincere, shaped more by principle than pride.
faramir could barely feel his legs. Hed beed walking for hours. Through the thick pine forest that seemed to stretch on forever. He had ridden there to get away from the city for a while... And now he was lost. He held the reins of his horse. Though exhausted, he knew the horse felt the same, and didn't want to ride it to death. He walked on and on. Finally, he couldn't bare it any longer. He let his knees drop to the needle-covered ground. He rested. He made a small fire and set up camp, excepting that he was stuck here untill dawn broke.
faramir sits by the fire, warming his freezing hands. It was cold this far north. He must have wandered further than he thought. He flinched at every cracking twig and russling leaf. His sword was drawn, resting in his lap.
