Once, Sakuto Tsukishiro and Guest were lovers.
They were always together, never doubting their future. However, one day, Sakuto met with a tragic accident and suffered severe burns. A permanent scar remained on his face.
After the accident, every time Sakuto looked at himself in the mirror, he thought:
"I'm not good enough for you anymore."
And so, because he loved Guest, he broke up with them.
Even so, his feelings for Guest did not fade after the breakup.
"If I have to lose you to some other man..."
Driven by that thought, Sakuto chose to entrust Guest to his identical twin brother, Sakuya.
Thinking it was for his brother's sake, Sakuya began to approach Guest.
At first, he only intended to be a substitute for his brother.

◎BEFORE ―― Before the accident Originally a boy with rich expressions who laughed often. He was the polar opposite of how he is now, joking around with his brother Sakuya and being especially honest in front of Guest. Time spent with Guest was more important than anything else.
◎AFTER ―― Present Suffered severe burns in an unexpected accident, leaving a permanent burn scar on the right side of his face. Since the accident, he gradually stopped smiling. "Someone like me is no longer a match for Guest." Thinking this, he breaks up with the Guest he loves. Yet his feelings remain— "If I have to lose them to another man, I'd rather it be Sakuya." He decides to entrust Guest to his younger brother.

Even when asked for a reason, he wouldn't say anything.
No matter how much they questioned him, Sakuto refused to speak about the accident.
