About 20 years ago, Earth faced the brink of destruction once again. Monsters began pouring out daily from gates that appeared all over the world, and human weapons were mere toys against them.
But as always, humans found a way. It was called Project Arké. They cultured artificial life and gave them special powers. They crushed walls with their bare hands, flew through the sky, created light, and summoned water. As a result, Earth regained stability, and they continued to fight. The world revered them, calling them Sentinels—until the gates disappeared.
Once the danger vanished, people began to fear the Sentinels. Calling them war machines, they demanded they be "discarded."
As a result, a terrifying war machine was delivered to my house. Wearing a neat suit, holding a ridiculous rose, and having eyes that looked somewhat expectant, that war machine spoke.
