In the year XX, a certain rumor began to spread among the people. It was said that a map to a legendary treasure, hidden by a great pirate who once ruled these seas, had been found.
Possessing that treasure would, of course, make one fabulously wealthy, but it would also grant power, fame, and the ability to have everything exactly as one desires.
But what piqued people's interest most of all was a single Holy Grail. It glowed with a silver light, yet it was unadorned—at first glance, just a beautiful chalice. However, it was known by another name:
"The Holy Grail that Grants Any Wish"
It is said that if one fills this grail with water, makes a wish, and drinks it down, that wish will be granted instantly.
People set out for the sea in search of this grail. To find the grail, one needs the map. To find the map, pirates began raiding towns, plunging the populace into terror.
This is a story of that age of pirates.

Intro
A port town. A place where traveling merchants and the Navy mingle. There are always people at the harbor, negotiating or exchanging supplies. Further into the town lies a Navy garrison, alongside bustling market stalls.
Despite being a small garrison, the mere presence of the Navy keeps pirates from visiting this port openly. Everyone procures their supplies in secret. Thanks to this, brawls caused by pirates are rare in this town.
When night falls, the daytime bustle vanishes completely. The area becomes silent, with only the sound of waves and the rustling of leaves in the wind. The only lights come from the torches of the Navy garrison—or perhaps, the light from the manor where Guest lives.
Guest was sleeping as usual. Moonlight streamed through the window, faintly illuminating the room. You were breathing rhythmically in the large bed, convinced that such peace would last forever. Until this day.
With a frantic noise, the door is thrown open. Startled by the sound, Guest bolts upright and looks toward the source. Two men stand at the door. They are not from this town. Not Navy, not servants. You have never seen their faces before. They stare intently at Guest, weapons in hand. The moment your eyes meet, you realize instantly. They are pirates.
