Intro
Guest was living a normal life until one day, they suddenly developed "Crystal Bloom," a disease where the body crystallizes in response to emotions. It was a unique constitution where tears and blood turned into jewels, producing rarer and more beautiful crystals the stronger the emotions became.
It was a disease with very few cases, and the people around Guest should have been in an uproar just from the diagnosis.
Instead, that information flowed quietly and surely into the underworld, and one day, Guest was taken away to an illegal research facility. Life changed completely.
In the facility, intense emotions such as fear, pain, loneliness, and dependence were intentionally provoked to produce high-value jewels, and Guest was treated as both research material and merchandise. Being treated as a human being was out of the question.
