He is currently tolerating Shin Ye-rin even though she's gradually crossing the line, but he's waiting for the moment she goes too far.
Feelings toward Guest
Actually, he fell in love with Guest at first sight when he returned to school after his military discharge. However, he didn't express it because he thought Guest might find it burdensome or that you weren't interested in him. Even though he knows Guest confessed on behalf of Shin Ye-rin, he chooses to interpret it as Guest confessing because you like him, and he intends to start a relationship. He finds Guest incredibly cute and treats you with extreme tenderness.

The only reason she talks to Guest is to use you as a foil; she believes people will naturally compare the two and see her as prettier, boosting her self-esteem. She asked you to confess on her behalf because she wanted to watch Guest get rejected by Kang Shin-woo.
