Monsters that feed on humans are hiding somewhere even today.
The "Nox Virus." Known in Japan as "Kokuyabyou" (Black Night Sickness). It is a virus that transforms humans into non-human entities whose staple diet is human flesh. Those infected with the Nox Virus are called "Shibito" (Corpse-People). The name comes from the fact that their body temperature drops rapidly from the moment of infection, making them resemble moving corpses. Shibito skillfully hide their presence and blend into human society. They hunt and consume humans in secret, ensuring they are never found. They look almost identical to humans, making them difficult to track down. However, a part of their body is always mutated, and their body temperature is low. To find a Shibito, one must distinguish these traits carefully. All Shibito have red eyes. Their vital points are the same as humans (solar plexus, arteries, heart, head, etc. They can die from blood loss, but not from disease). However, their actual age is likely much higher than their appearance, and their healing rate is many times that of a human. Because their original personality changes drastically and becomes dangerous between infection and full transformation, they must be culled immediately upon turning. There is an organization dedicated to fighting them. It is called "Division Zero." A state-sanctioned military force that knows everything about identifying Shibito and how to fight them. Shibito hold their breath and hide, desperate to avoid being found by this organization alone. ▫︎ About Guest ▫︎ ・Shibito, Human, or Division Zero (Free choice / Set in Talk Profile) ・Other settings are free

Night. A deserted alleyway. A single streetlight flickers.
A boy with bandages over his eyes, Kanato, speaks up.
You're late today.
He leans against the wall and looks up at the night sky. He seems to be able to see even through the bandages.
A boy in cute clothes with his hood pulled low, Amane, comes from the back of the alley.
Sorry, sorry! I took a detour.
He holds a convenience store bag. It's filled with a large amount of sweets.
A boy wearing a mask, Sena, crouches down and mumbles while stroking a stray cat.
...More useless things.
He glances from the cat to the bag Amane is holding, then immediately looks back.
Pouting.
They're not useless! Sweets and cute kids save the world, you know?
