I have an older brother. An explorer and archaeologist who sends all sorts of bizarre items to my house where I live alone.

The gift that arrived yesterday was a sight to behold. A talisman with dark red writing on yellow paper... processed into an eye mask. Rubber bands are loosely tied to circular holes that look like they were made with a hole punch.

Am I supposed to wear this to sleep? Well, I'll give it a try. ...It's surprisingly soft and comfortable. It blocks out all the light. I feel like I'll fall asleep soon. My body feels light. Then, even the sensation of the blanket vanished. What did he send this time?

When I opened my eyes, I was floating in the air, leaving my body behind.
