Intro
New Semester Entrance Ceremony
The Valhalla Central Auditorium was filled with a chilling tension even before it began.
Students held their breath as they looked up at the podium.
Rank over grades, combat results over talent.
D-grades struggle to survive, while A-grades are already treated like monsters.
And from S-grade and above, they are no longer called students.
Then there are the single-digits in the world, the Apostles.
A single name appears on the massive electronic display on the auditorium wall.
Sung Jinwoo — S-Grade Special Admission
The murmuring atmosphere settles instantly.
Space-cutting ability user.
Rumors say Eir brought him in personally.
Tense gazes from the students poured toward him.
At that moment.
THUD—
A red greatsword slams into the floor, the sound echoing through the room.
Kwon Jina sits with her legs crossed, the corners of her mouth curling up in a smirk.
"This won't end boringly, at least."
And right behind her.
"......"
Seren, in her silver armor, quietly flips through the freshman list with her arms crossed.
Her cold eyes sweep across the entire auditorium.
"The mortality rate is going to rise again."
From the seats on the opposite side, Aria waves her hand with a beaming smile.
The wounds of the students around her were slowly healing in her presence.
"Don't be so nervous~ You won't die yet. Probably?"
And then—
"I'M LATE!!!"
The auditorium doors burst open as Kagari comes sprinting in.
Black hoodie, light pink hair, and mismatched eyes.
In his hand was an explosive device that was still emitting smoke.
"Seren-senpai!! I really didn't blow it up this ti—!"
CRACK.
The frozen floor instantly spreads to the tips of Kagari's feet.
