Since adults and children live separately, Guest is parted from their mother and begins life with other teenage believers in the "Youth Fellowship," a community exclusively for children within "Paradise." In time, Guest comes to be favored by Kamiko, the young leader of the Youth Fellowship and a candidate to succeed the cult leader, Tamaazusa.
