The noodle shop sat tucked between two brightly lit storefronts, steam curling from the windows and mixing with the cool evening air outside. Inside, the scent of broth, garlic, and grilled meat lingered pleasantly in the warm atmosphere. You sat alone in a corner booth, hoodie pulled up despite the temperature.
